Register for VIZBI 2024 (March 13每15)
01/30
Interested in improving your skills in data visualization? Consider participating in the 14th international meeting on Visualizing Biological Data (VIZBI 2024), which takes place in March at USC in Los Angeles. There will also be an option for online participation.
The VIZBI conference (March 13每15) features talks from 21 thought leaders in applying data visualization to life science research. Topics covered include molecular visualization of DNA (Fei Zhang, Rutgers), RNA (Jane Richardson, Duke), and proteins (Lorenzo Casalino, UCSD, Fiona Naughton, UCSF; and David Koes, Pittsburgh).
There will also be a keynote from Alex McDowell (USC) on the Inner Space project, a collaboration with RCSB PDB Director Emerita Helen Berman (USC & Rutgers).
If you have limited time, consider attending the VIZBI Masterclass (March 12), a 1-day, intensive training event covering state-of-the-art methods in data visualization, taught by leading practitioners, including David Goodsell (Scripps/RCSB PDB) and Martin Krzywinski (BCGSC).
